About this movie

Louis is a regular guy. He runs a small print-and-copy shop in a Long Island strip mall. He drinks beer with his best buddy, Stan. He hunts for evidence that ghosts exist. Believe it or not, Louis is normal, one of many thousands of people who consider themselves amateur ghost-hunters. It’s an escape from the drudgery of his daily routine and a reminder that there may be more to life than he knows. When a customer walks into his print shop and mentions possible paranormal activity at an abandoned farm outside of town, Louis sees a chance to finally indulge his hobby for real. With the help of his depressed best friend, a screw-up nephew, an overly-vigilant mall cop, a hack cable-access psychic, a whip-smart beautician and a van filled with amateur equipment, Louis is determined to catch some ghosts on film. But poltergeists are the least of what the team finds in the abandoned McIntosh estate. What begins as a bumbling attempt to explore the farm soon becomes a hilarious and terrifying race to escape it alive.

I forced myself to watch the whole thing as punishment for ever thinking that this movie had any value whatsoever. So if you have any inklings of watching the movie, do the same. Force yourself to watch the whole thing. In the end you will have been punished sufficiently for ever thinking a free movie could be worthwhile. Horrible. Just awful. Not funny, not realistic, not compelling. Bad acting. Bad dialogue. Any redeeming value? Maybe...but I can't think of any right now. I'm still trying to get over sitting through the whole thing.

Boring. Boring. Did I say boring? I cannot repeat the word boring enough to describe how utterly lifesuckingly dull this film was. Not funny. Not scary. Not much of anything. They get one star because of relatively little body humor, cursing, or gore.(and because Google play doesn't allow 0 stars) It seemed like a student movie made by not particularly talented middle schoolers. Thank you Google for not having the audacity to charge me to watch it. On second thought I should have been paid for those 83 mins

This was one of the most boring, moronic, horribly stale scripted movies I have ever seen. It is not funny AT ALL. The acting is so stiff, the characters are cliché in a bad way and do not mesh well. The plot and script is dismal. No one cares about any of the characters or what is going on. Producers and director... if releasing this for free was a test run before theaters, take my comment and almost every other comment as a hint and put this reel in a deep, dark and dusty corner and find a new profession.
